Na Na Na Na NaNa, You Say It's Your Birthday!

It's my Maid-of-Honor's B-day today!!!!!

Ain't she pretty? I'm well aware that I am going to be TOTALLY upstaged by all my beautiful bridesmaids and handsome bride's men - but I'm ok with that :)

Miss Annie is not only a stone cold fox - she's also been my roomie twice, in fact she was my FIRST ever roommate in the house [dorm] that I live in still [Howard Mouse Fo' Life!]

Annie is a dear, she's sweet, she's funny, she's so darn lovable and she's the best listener/advice giver ever - so clear-headed and mature - but also immature at the best times ;)

I'll never forget 

~ her crazy wrestling fights with Brittany going on either in our room or loudly in the hallway - I always felt so helpless, watching her get dominated like that [I hear she's making a comeback these days :) we shall see during wedding times]

~ how she was always willing to watch a show with me instead of doing homework [our grades may or may not have suffered....]

~ how she dealt smashingly with me during my most emotional and dramatic outbursts during college

~ how she inspired me to actually get ready for school - rather than just roll out of bed - essentially Annie taught me how to be a girl - in the best sense

~ she's the Southern softy to my Northern hardness [must be the cold...]

and ~ she likes tea dates just as much as me [cause like Carolyn and I - she's a lady!]

Annie is one of those people I'm so grateful to have known and can't imagine college life 

[and now life in general!] without her

It was a tough time thinking of who the heck would be my MOH [I can call it that right??] along with my sister Monica - the Matron of Honor [married!] 

I love all my friends so much it felt weird picking "a favorite"- but I had to stop thinking of it like that - once I made a list of the qualities I wanted this girl to express 

it became very clearly - Annie

We DID party on a Monday

Yup, 

As I said in my post about Carolyn's B-day bash on Saturday

We had some plans...

As Robert Burns once said, "the best laid schemes o' mice an' men gang aft a-gley"

Our plans gang aft a-gley hardcore!!

But I won't get into it... what I will say is that we did NOT get to go to Red Robin

Tragic!

So we had some make-up partying to do and we decided to do it on Carolyn's actual birthday

Gushy Gusher Time:

I like this girl a lot :) A lot a lot, and I'm really starting to hate that looming ominous graduation date coming closer and closer to existence :( but hopefully I can finish all the papers I must write so I can hang out with this lovely lady. I'm not gonnu gush too much cause I believe that some of my love for people should be kept to me - and them as long as I'm good at showing it.

I love that we can be totally crazy sometimes and ladies wearing pearls and drinking tea at others. 

I love laughing with her - her laugh is SOOOO contagious and can last up to 20 minutes ;)

And I love when we accidentally do the same silly things like this picture captures - we're checking ourselves cause we're LADIES

I also love that I have more pictures with her than I do with Doug - 48 to 29 - she is winning Douglas!

All in All - I love Carolyn a bunch and a half :)

It's Her BIRTHDAY!!!

You guessed it - it's my sister NATALIE'S B-DAY!!!

* HAPPY *YOU* DAY NATALIE!!! *

I so hope you know how much your dumb little sister adores you :) 

Here's Why:

* She's always doing crazy cool things with her crazy cool hair

[ex: short, really short, buzzed, hot pink, purple, blond, orange (people don't forget :P) and brown!]

 *I try really hard to be kinda like her :)

It started when I was in elementary school - i realized she was SO beautiful and 

that I too would like to be SO beautiful - so I proceeded to try on all her clothes and "test" 

out all her makeup [mostly just to do Queen Amidala stuff...] whenever she left the house

* She's Funny

Like REALLY funny - I mean come on! 

She introduced me to Dane Cook, and along with my other sister Monica, 

can say jokes that leave me in tears. Every funny thing in my 

life probably goes back to Natalie introducing me

to it somehow, its crazay

* Like I said before - She's Beautiful!!

She got a lot of our parents' good genes - moving me to incredible jealousy

* We have fun :)

Caity's not in this picture, but when we all get together - the Rooker Sisters have some good times 

And i miss them all a lot [sniff sniff] A LOT!

* She took me to my first live action pro-football game [CHARGERS!! vs. Denver]

She doesn't get to hear how often I brag about that to my friends

and how much it has affected my team loyalty...

PS: our team won, woo!

* She lives in Australia now

Which I am totally fine with

[until i get bored, sad, lonely, hungry, or needy for sister-time...]

* She goes EVERYWHERE!!!

This is Natalie in Thailand - she had a blast. Plus being in the Navy - she's gone pretty 

much everywhere else - she's a citizen of the World!

* She's kinda like a modern day superhero - I think

She's so smart and can do....... yeah, she can do everything!

Natalie is Awesome - and I hope this is sufficient for a b-day gift to her because 

I can't afford to do anything else :P But I love the girl and hope that she has a 

really fantastic Birthday - She deserves it hard core :)
